The International Court of Justice (ICJ) holds public hearings on Guatemala's Application for permission to intervene in the case concerning Sovereignty over the Sapodilla Cayes/Cayos Zapotillos (Belize v. Honduras) on 24 November 2025.
During the sitting, HE Judge Phoebe Okowa (Kenya), a new Member of the Court elected by the General Assembly and the Security Council of the United Nations on 12 November 2025, is officially sworn in.
